How it works
Everything you need to post bounties, take contracts, and stay safe.
What Helpmewin is
Helpmewin is a members-only bounty board for video game help. Stuck on a boss, hunting a bug, need a mod built, or want coaching? Post a bounty. Other members apply to take it on, and you pick who gets the contract. When the job's done, you mark it complete.
Membership
- New members get a 5-day free trial. A card (including Apple Pay or Google Pay) is required to start it. Cancel before the 5 days are up and you're never charged; otherwise you're charged $5 when the trial ends, then monthly. We'll remind you by email the day before. One free trial per member and per card.
- Membership is $5 per month. It lets you browse the board, post bounties, apply for contracts, send comms, and view operator profiles.
- You must be 18 or older and confirm your email address when you sign up.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Helpmewin never sees or stores your card number.
- Cancel or update your card anytime: go to Account → Manage subscription.
- If a payment fails, your access is paused right away. You'll see a red notice with an Update payment method button — fix your card and access comes back as soon as the payment goes through.
Posting a bounty
- Click Post a bounty and fill in a title, the game, a category, and a mission brief describing exactly what you need. Adding a reward is optional.
- You can have up to 5 active bounties (open or in progress) at once, and post up to 10 in 24 hours.
- Editing: you can change a bounty while it's open. Once you accept an applicant, the details lock so the job can't change under them.
- Private comms: switch comms to private and only you can read them — members can still send you messages.
- Mission complete: when the work is done, mark the bounty complete.
- Deleting: you can delete your bounty, with its comms, at any time — even after a contract is taken (the merc gets a notification). The only exception: a bounty that's been reported can't be deleted until moderators review it.
- Bounties expire: every bounty and its comms are permanently deleted 30 days after posting, whatever their status. You'll get a notification 3 days before. Save anything you need — including how to reach the people you're working with — before then.
Taking contracts
- Open a bounty and click Apply for contract. Adding a short pitch is optional but helps — experience, availability, platform.
- You can apply for up to 10 contracts per day. While you wait, you can withdraw your application (and apply again while the bounty is still open).
- The poster reviews applicants and accepts one. If it's you, the contract shows under Contracts taken and you'll be notified. If someone else is chosen, you'll get a notification too.
- Track everything on My contracts: contracts you've taken, your applications, and bounties you've posted.
- Your application and pitch are visible only to you, the poster, and moderators.
Rewards
A bounty's reward is shown for information only. Helpmewin isn't involved in payments between members. See the Terms of Service for details.
Dev Projects
Dev Projects is where verified creators share games they're building, along with their Solana token's live price and chart. Anyone can browse it.
- Listing a project: you need a membership and a verified Twitch or Kick channel (Account page). The token must already be trading. You can have 2 projects listed or waiting for review at a time.
- Review: a moderator checks every project and every update before it appears. Editing a project sends it back for review. Profit or price promises ("guaranteed", "10x", "moon"…) and contact details aren't allowed — project pages are public.
- Trading: "Trade in Solflare" opens that token in Solflare, a separate company. Helpmewin never sells or holds tokens and takes no money from any listing or token.
- Risk: Helpmewin doesn't endorse any developer or token, and nothing there is financial advice. Tokens can lose all their value. See Terms section 6A.
Notifications
Most updates arrive in the bell at the top of the page: new comms, new applicants, whether you were chosen, expiry warnings, and bounties that were deleted.
We only email you for a few things:
- A reminder the day before your free trial ends.
- The first merc applying to your bounty.
- Being accepted for a contract.
- A failed membership payment.
- Changes to your account's status.
- Confirming your email address, and password resets you ask for.
Stripe also sends receipts for your membership payments. We never send marketing email.
Your account
- Callsign: pick a username (3–20 letters, numbers, or underscores) on the Account page. It's shown on your bounties, comms, and your operator profile. Your email address is never shown to other members.
- Public profile: on the Account page you can add a short bio (up to 500 characters), up to 5 links to your other pages (https only), and up to 8 accomplishments. Your profile page is public — anyone with the link can see it, but it's hidden from search engines. Your bounties on it stay members-only.
- Verify with Twitch or Kick: streamers and creators can prove a channel is theirs from the Account page by signing in to Twitch or Kick. Your channel name then shows beside your callsign everywhere, marked with the amber reticle (both, if you verify both). We only confirm who you are there — no access to your channel, chat or email — and you can remove it anytime.
- Operator profiles: click any callsign to see that member's profile, and — as a member — their active bounties. Spot spam or abuse on a profile? Use Report this profile at the bottom of the page.
- Password: change it on the Account page, or use Forgot password? on the login screen.
- Two-factor login: turn it on from the Account page with an authenticator app, so a stolen password alone can't get into your account.
Safety & reporting
- Every bounty and every comm has a Report button. Use it for scams, harassment, cheating requests, or anything against the Terms.
- Moderators review every report. They can remove content and suspend or ban accounts — suspended and banned members are emailed the reason.
- Never share passwords or account logins with another member.
Payment issues
All payments on Helpmewin are handled by Stripe, our only payment processor. If you were sent here, something went wrong between our site and Stripe — for example:
- Stripe is having an outage or doing maintenance (check status.stripe.com);
- we couldn't confirm your card yet, so your free trial is waiting to start;
- a temporary problem on our side.
While this is happening, new sign-ups and free trials are paused — we never let anyone in without a confirmed payment method. Nothing is lost: if you already started a free trial, your access begins as soon as your card is confirmed. Try again in a few minutes.
Still stuck? Email bigboss@helpmewin.win with the email address you signed up with. For questions about a specific charge, your bank can also help, and Stripe's help center is at support.stripe.com. Never send your card number by email — we'll never ask for it.
