Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Helpmewin.win LLC ("Helpmewin," "we," "us") collects when you use helpmewin.win, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It is part of our Terms of Service.
The short version: we collect only what we need to run a members-only board — your email, a few profile fields, what you post, and your subscription status. We don't run ads, we don't use analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: your email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider; we can't see them.
- Profile: username ("callsign") and, if you choose to fill them in, a short bio, links to other sites, and a list of accomplishments. If you choose "Verify with Twitch" or "Verify with Kick", we also store that account's ID, username and display name (the platform confirms them when you sign in there). We don't keep your password, email, or any access to your Twitch or Kick account — Kick shares your email with us during sign-in, and we discard it without storing it.
- Your content: Bounties (title, description, game, Offered Amount), comments, contract applications (including the optional pitch you write), and reports you file about other content.
- Dev Projects (if you list one): your project's name, game, summary, description and roadmap, the token address you give us (plus the token's public name, symbol and trading pool, which we look up), your project updates, and moderators' review notes.
- Messages to us: anything you send to bigboss@helpmewin.win.
Information created when you use the Site
- Free trial card check: if you start a free trial, we store Stripe's card "fingerprint" — a code that identifies the card without revealing its number — so each card gets only one free trial. We keep it even if you delete your account, for that purpose only.
- Activity records: which contracts you've applied for, been accepted or not selected for, or resolved, your notifications and whether you've read them, and timestamps.
- Account status: your role (member or admin) and whether your account is active, suspended, or banned.
- Subscription: your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, plan, and renewal date. We never receive or store your card number — Stripe collects payment details directly.
- Technical data: like nearly every website, our hosting providers automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To check that your membership is active before showing members-only content.
- To display your Bounties and comments to other members.
- To send transactional emails: verifying your address and resetting your password, telling you when the first merc applies to your Bounty or when you're accepted for a contract, reminding you the day before a free trial ends, warning you about failed payments, and notices about your account's status. Everything else is an on-site notification only. We don't send marketing email.
- To review reports, moderate content, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you (running your account and membership); our legitimate interests (security, moderation, preventing abuse); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
3. Who can see it, and who we share it with
Other members
Bounties and comments, along with your username, are visible to other logged-in members with an active membership. They are not visible to the public internet. If a Bounty's comments are set to private, its comments are visible only to the Bounty's author (and to our moderators). A contract application, including your pitch, is visible only to you, the Bounty's poster, and our moderators. Your email address is never shown to other members.
The public
Your operator profile page — your username, when you joined, how many contracts you've completed recently, your verified Twitch or Kick channel names if you added them, and any bio, links, and accomplishments you add — can be viewed by anyone with the link, including people who aren't members. We ask search engines not to index these pages. The profile fields are optional; you can edit or clear them at any time on your Account page. Your Bounties stay members-only.
If you list a Dev Project, its approved page — project details, token address, approved updates, and your username and verified channel names — is also public, and search engines such as Google may index it.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Site, and only what each needs:
- Supabase — account authentication and database hosting (all your data above).
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing (email, payment details, billing records).
- Resend — sending transactional email (email address and email content).
- Vercel and Render — hosting the website and our server (technical data passing through them).
- IGDB (Twitch) — game search. We send only the game name you search for, from our server; no personal information.
- GeckoTerminal — token prices and charts on Dev Projects. Our server sends only public token addresses. When you open a project page, your browser loads GeckoTerminal's chart directly, so GeckoTerminal receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy.
Other cases
We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process; to protect the safety, rights, or property of members, the public, or Helpmewin; to investigate fraud or Terms violations; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Site (in which case this policy continues to apply to your information).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. When you go to Stripe's checkout or billing portal, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Bounties and their comms: automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after the bounty is posted, or sooner if the poster deletes it (which they can do at any time). Deleted bounties are not archived. A bounty under an open moderation report may be kept until the report is reviewed, and can't be deleted by its poster in the meantime.
- Account and profile: until you delete your account.
- Dev Projects and their updates: until you delete them or your account, or a moderator removes them. A project under an open moderation report can't be deleted until the report is reviewed.
- Reports and moderation records: may be kept after deletion when needed to prevent banned users from returning or to address legal claims.
- Billing records: Stripe and we keep these as long as required for tax and accounting law.
- Server logs and backups: kept for a limited period by our providers, then deleted or overwritten on their schedules.
6. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it, by emailing bigboss@helpmewin.win from your account's email address. We'll respond within 30 days (or sooner where the law requires). We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
- California residents have the rights above under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and to delete it. We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- EEA and UK residents additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
You can cancel your membership at any time from your subscription settings page.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, database access controls, and keeping payment data with Stripe — but no system is perfectly secure. Use a unique password, and never share login details with other members.
8. Where your data is stored
Helpmewin is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Site from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
9. Children
Helpmewin is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here with a new effective date. For material changes, we'll email you before they take effect.
